What's happening in the David Mary Custom shop?

Pic above was taking after packing up to go home. Then I turned toward the door to unplug the power and leave, but for some reason I stopped and turned back around, and I kid you not, that spider, which had been sitting still the whole time, was in a mad sprint right at me! Then when I turned back toward him, he seamlessly did a U-turn and ran in the other direction. I'm guessing it was pure dumb luck I it out of there alive. That behemoth couldda swallowed me in one bite.
