Cool incognito martial/utility design. That piece is rife with intent. Any more about this one? I am a big fan of slender wharncliffes.

Hi W. Andyrsen ! That is called the EDC Universal 2.1. I have a few of them in around 1/8" AEB-L, and the blank actually starts with a squared off blade shape that can be made into anything. This knife is also from my EDC Universal 2.1 blank:

The original run of the EDC Universal 2 was MagnaCut, and I found myself finagling the front of the handle to get a little more grip area, so the 2.1 is just a revision with a touch more handle length built in. Blade length is 5".

Insomniac and Mini Insomniac are based on this one. It is the Midnighter Fighter, because I was fighting fatigue past midnight in the shop when I first designed it from a piece of cardboard.

Midnighter Fighter in 5/32" AEB-L with black cherry burl Micarta from Fixall that I have been holding onto for a very special occasion, and an inlay composed of Fat Carbon Dark Matter Gold Marbled carbon fiber (because the material just had to have over a dozen syllables in its name), burlap Micarta, black and white liners and white spacers, with file work on the spine of the blade;
Gothic Tanto in 1/4" AEB-L (name proposed by the customer for this one-off custom, since he insisted we "go thick" on the blade stock and Ameragrip scales;
EDC Universal 2.1 in AEB-L with natural canvas Micarta;
Two serrated steak knives in 15N20 with Bocote scales and white liners;
EDC Universal 2 in AEB-L with black canvas Micarta, red linen Micarta inlay and red liners;
Mega Fried Liver Attack prototype in AEB-L with diamond blue GripX scales.
