Ah yes, but does David's sword glow blue when orks are near?Bilbo's sword, eventually given to Frodo, was named Sting. Your work, David, does bear some resemblance to the movie version of Sting. The narrowing blade section closer to the guard and the further portion of the blade being broader, were supposed to resemeble the shape of a some tree leaf on Tolkien lore.
That would be cool, but since I'm pretty sure Ontario isn't Gondolin then I'd guess not. Plus all of those were forged pre War Of Wrath, I don't think third age products glowed.Ah yes, but does David's sword glow blue when orks are near?

The decision has been made to prototype one Prevail Wharncliffe for R&D. The point is slightly lower than that of the Prevail, and the blade is also slightly longer, at a tad over 4".

Only when the in-laws are lurking about...Ah yes, but does David's sword glow blue when orks are near?
I read you - Star wars/Star trek, D&D weren't really my cup of tea, but I've poured over the various works of Tolkien and his son, Christopher, plus the extensive art legacy that follows the Middle Earth lore. The 1st movie trilogy was a pleasant surprise in it's faithfulness to the written works and I still remmeber the excitement for each movie, even when over 20 yrs has passed.I know, I showed my nerd, and it smells like...
Loser
I'm a star wars guy on top of the Tolkien stuff, so double nerd for me...I read you - Star wars/Star trek, D&D weren't really my cup of tea, but I've poured over the various works of Tolkien and his son, Christopher, plus the extensive art legacy that follows the Middle Earth lore. My mom was mad at my sister because she was born during an episode of Star Trek TNG, and my mom had to miss it when she went to the hospital, because it was in the days when if you missed it, you had to wait for re-runs.I'm a star wars guy on top of the Tolkien stuff, so double nerd for me...
Do you have these cut out by someone on a waterjet or something?
I waste a lot of steel cutting on my bandsaw. A layout like this is not possible...
