What's happening in the David Mary Custom shop?

Posted a shop post in the photo thread. I'll let it ride.

Preliminary planning of a 15" x 48" sheet of AEB-L. Everything you see positioned on the sheet is someone's order. Some designs pending approval still. Also the placement isn't final. This is just to ballpark how much real estate is left. If I don't get more orders before too long, I'll probably toss on some more Prevails and EDChefs, and maybe some neckers of some kind. A filet knife or two couldn't hurt either.

I see three very familiar looking shapes in there. 😁

There are a few designs in there that some will find familiar.

Three of each Bush Brute (BBQ/food prep, edition because it is thin steel), Bushcamp and Bush Buddy - Good Knife Co.

Danny Linguini Danny Linguini the three kitchen knife profiles you requested.

Another kitchen set for a local customer who wanted a set like Auglaize117 Auglaize117 's set.

Three Prevails, Three EDChefs with jimping, two without, six ringed wharncliffes, an ulu, an EDC "khukuri", EDC Bowie, Skinny Fat Bowie, three pseudo sheepsfoot paring/utility/EDC knives with jimping, four of them with straight spines to the point, and last but not least, two broad bladed Barax machetes. I made some Baraxes in 3/32" 15N20 and they hit a lot harder than I was expecting, but were very light and nimble. Maybe too light, as they needed some energy to really chop for all they were worth. So with these ones, I have lifted the specs from the CAD file from my first ever waterjet run two years ago, but then increased the blade height ever so slightly by raising the spine and dropping the edge. I believe the result will be a greater bite with less effort, while still retaining great nimbleness.

And yesterday, I was going to post my shop stuff, but the board was down, so here it is today:

Received scarysamcary scarysamcary 's knife and the giveaway blades from CDHumiston CDHumiston and got them drilled.

Started prep for a ringed wharncliffe for a local customer. Just got the scales mostly cut out, and dry fit. Nothing attached permanently yet. I still need to grind the blank.

And this is the whole set, for one of my local customers:

He already has a meat slicer and a filet knife, both with OD green suretouch, so this set will also be handled with the same.

I think I know the knife you mean Bob. PM sent!
