If the bug out wasn’t 30v I’d prob have one.BM Bugout and a KA-BAR BK21!![]()
I probably should have been more clear.I like variety in my collection, so if that were mine, I would add:
- A pliers-based multi tool
- A smallish fixed blade
- A SAK with scissors, toothpick and tweezers (Executive? Classic on the keys?)
- A balisong. If you think folders are fun to play with, wait'll you try a balisong! Get a cheap one and blunt it for practice, then add a decent one later
- A hatchet
Now you’re talking. The Lionsteel’s are great, especially when you consider the price and materials. My Dom is sitting in my watch pocket right now. Their M390 seems like it has a bomb heat treatment too. I haven’t felt the need to sharpen my Dom since I’ve gotten it, and I’ve used it for a lot of cardboard. I love both of mine, the aforementioned Dom and a Shuffler.

Man, those southards look awesome.Great knives you have there. I have a couple of inexpensive suggestions:
I may be biased on the Southard scale thing though. You can do so many different things with it . . .
- Get a new scale to pretty up that Southard
- For actual users, IMO it's hard to beat a Cold Steel Tuff Lite (the only downside is it could make you forget about your Dragonfly knives altogether--it banished mine to a drawer somewhere)
I do like the lines on the 452. It’s a beauty. I have a lot in the general size already tho.I’d get a ZT 0452 (my personal favorite flipper) and a griptilian in 20cv

As stupid as it sounds I just don’t like the writing on the blade of those bullnose. It’s not a deal breaker tho.An awesome sodbuster type knife is the GEC #71 Bullnose. I also second the mini crooked river. It's my favorite knife I own.
This is creeping up the list, fast.
I usually go fixed blade for anything heavy duty.Get either Umnumzaan or Hinderer for heavy duty tasks.
I just looked, I can’t find those lionsteel for sale in Canada. I’m twitchy about shipping knives in with our gung ho border agents. Although that lionsteel would baron be ok.Lionsteel was my first thought. Pick your blade style.
Be careful around the GB2. It has kicked the GB1 out of the rotation for me.
Blasphemy I know, but it happened.
