What's on your key ring?

i don't carry a key ring...

i typically stash the housekey around back and i don't drive a car (bicycle).

but i used to carry my housekey and a key to a padlock i had on a trunk i kept my blades in, as well as a USB drive, a small screwdriver i made from some mild steel sheet, a small flashlight and a few other things i don't remember. then i went to two keyrings, one with keys and one with gadgets. then i just stopped carrying the gadgets because they were lumpy and poke-y in my pocket and not at all comfortable. then i stopped carrying the keys.

i don't like to carry alot of stuff, so now i have it down to knife, chapstick, 12" paracord, lighter and spy capsule fuel bottle, krazy glue and a slim cross pen. i keep my dollars and bussiness cards with my small notebook in my back right pocket. i keep the back left pocket open for the most part.

i do like to lanyard many of those items that you listed though to my bags or to eachother instead of a keychain. like said i like to lanyard a ferro rod with a spy capsule with PJCB and a striker. i like to tie the little goodies together to keep from losing them.

I have heard that too much weight is hard on your car and can cause parts in the ignition to fail early, that being said...

keys, an extra split ring, a swisskey, and a photon light.

Photon light, handcuff key, Swiss-Tech, Victorinox Mini-Champ, keys, all on a brass retainer that I've had for about 25 years.

Just keys and a keychain light (batterystation brand). I prefer hanging a flashlight, multitool, and cell off my belt.

On my - just keys :)
While in the woods - a SAK,fire starter, fatwood and a mini flashlight on a cord are the way to go! :)

jds1, what is that between your hotspark and the squirt? and where did you get it? I want one, what for you ask? bc it's a shiny thing

My key ring has a small LED light, Swisstech Utili-key, a collapsible ballpoint pen and . . . a few keys.

Ive got a whole lot... my keys are really just a small survival kit that has my keyes on it haha.
Maglite solitare with a led uprade i installed.
Light my fire firesteel and striker, medium sized model.
Keys for my appartment and for my moms house.
Stop and shop card
some safety pins
small red laser
small cheap 2 inch folder
one of those tiny peanut lighters
prybar
skull
large spy capsule with wetfire tinder and some water purification tablets in it
I put this all on a "claw" organizer to make it less ridiculous.
Im going to get sone lobster claws to mae everything quickly detachable in case i dont feel like carrying it all around. Am i weird for having so much crap?

I see a lot of mini prybars (if i'm correct) in many of the pic posts above, did you guys make those or did you buy them somewhere? I'd like to throw one of those on my keychain, oodles of uses.

Not meaning to be facetious, but just WHAT do you do with them?!?

I've been looking at them, and looking at them, saw a YouTube video about wrapping one with braided paracord, and other than lifting poptop rings and not breaking my fingernails I can't think of anything I'd do with them! What are they for other than the obvious nail remover? :(

My key ring has three keys and one Fenix L0D. That's all. I hate large keyrings.

I hate having lots of crap on my keys. I have four keyrings.
One is for padlocks at work, on a folding DMT fine stone that makes them easy to find, and for touching up an edge at work-daypack.
Another is for locker keys and smaller locks at work-pocket at work, daypack away from work
Another has rarely used keys to the church, and a few other people's houses-truck console
My actual EDC ring has keys to my house, parent's house, best friend's house, and my truck. Opposite them a Victorinox Classic, Atwood whistle, and Arc AAA-P round things out. I "fold" the side with the keys against the side with the other stuff, and it takes up less room than a roll of quarters, with probably less than 1/4 the weight-daypack at work, pocket away from work

This separate from my keys (just a Photon on there and a Lee Valley Round Screwdriver):

Add a SAK or Leatherman in the woods, plus my EDC and you're good to go.
