Wife’s favorite brunch spot, Willa Jean in New Orleans. I got the hangover bowl: Beef short rib, cheesy grits, sunny side up egg, and half a bottle of Crystal hot sauce.

Planned to cook over the camp fire today, but the wind isn’t cooperating so in the over it goes. Boneless short ribs with onions. Should be ready in a few hours and in time to help warm up after a cold day in the woods.

The CRK Sikayo is one of my favorite kitchen knives. I’ve had this pair for a long time, and have cooked many meals with them.

Ended up taking the short ribs to a neighbors house for a last minute pot luck dinner. Only picture of the finished dish is the leftovers. Served over some brown rice. Doesn’t look great, but it sure hit the spot for a warm dinner.

Food looks great (as usual!) Those CRK Sikayo's are no longer in production, correct?? Ahead of their time, considering how Ultem seems to be fashionable again!!
