Right on! Very cool to see. It’s a good book, and the recipes all work. For north Texans: Evan is going to be in Dallas area all weekend slinging good food and signing books. Public appearances at Zavala’s barbecue for Saturday May 30 happy hour 5-7PM, and at the Yeti store on McKinney Ave Monday June 1 in the afternoon Free Lone Star beer with visit!

Guys we had a killer barbecue cookbook backyard party yesterday for Evan LeRoy’s NEW SCHOOL BARBECUE. Evan’s menu:

-Pimento Cheese and Firecrackers
-Fried Okra Croquettes
-Mother-in-Slaw (Southern Living magazine just wrote a rave feature about his broccoli cabbage slaw recipe)
-Smoked Pork Steaks with Apple Butter Pork Demi glace
-Seared Beef Picanha with Chimichurri

Sadly I was working the crowd so I didn’t get many proper food pics. But I did a full photo post in thread 'Guardians of The Lambsfoot!'
