Shucked a few hundred fresh gulf oysters today at the mother in law’s next door neighbor’s place. Slurped them raw, Green Egg smoked and chargrilled with sriracha butter!
Forgot to add this photo of a pretty and delicious oyster I shucked with my buddy’s excellent custom knife. Made by a fellow named Hutchins in Tuscaloosa AL. Really nice tool that gets the job done on those strong hinges.
Injected them, smoked with apple and cherry wood . Used a dry rub on the outside , halfway through the smoke... basted with butter and added more seasoning
