My "traditional" Thanksgiving meal.

Steamed dungeness crabs with corn on the cob & sourdough bread served with sparkling wine. :)

This is saute pan full of legs and wings from the 18# turkey that I bought/broke down/froze before TG is currently braising in the oven.

The braising sauce includes 2 cups of pinot, a qt of turkey broth made from the turkey carcass, a mirepoix of onions, celery & carrots and some salt, pepper, thyme and rosemary. Oh, and some bay leaves & garlic too.

Smells good! :)

Update:

Already made gravy from the braising sauce and ate a wing. Will have some more for lunch or dinner tomorrow.
