This is saute pan full of legs and wings from the 18# turkey that I bought/broke down/froze before TG is currently braising in the oven.
The braising sauce includes 2 cups of pinot, a qt of turkey broth made from the turkey carcass, a mirepoix of onions, celery & carrots and some salt, pepper, thyme and rosemary. Oh, and some bay leaves & garlic too.
Smells good!
Update:
Already made gravy from the braising sauce and ate a wing. Will have some more for lunch or dinner tomorrow.
Canned salmon, mixed greens and the only good potato chips in existence. There's olive oil and Frank's red hot in there with the fish and greens of course.
Had a work dinner last night with a vendor in from Texas, so of course had to get steak Lava rock wagyu app, and a wagyu flat iron with crab meat and hollandaise, with maple bacon Brussels sprouts.
Meant to post a picture of my chopped chicken last night but got too drunk and passed out. This plus cheeze and some taco bell baja sauce on a golden toasted tort makes for an easy yummy dinner.
