What's that you're eating?

Haven't visited my local Korean restaurant for awhile. So, stopped by yesterday and ordered the same thing that I always order.

Beef Dolsot Bibimbap which is good but the "new" Korean beer they started serving -- Kloud -- wasn't. Oh well . . . 🤷‍♂️

So, after months of hesitancy, I finally decided to use my SDFK. It blows through ~1 inch branches without blinking. It also blazes through a partially frozen roast with reckless abandon.

I intended to snap a pic of the finished product: Thai Basil beef with Jasmine rice and carrot and red pepper salad. But, I happened to eat a dozen raw Thai chilies in a rather short time and nearly went on an unexpected journey.


So, sadly, there are no pics as of yet. Maybe I’ll remember to take one when I devour the leftovers.
 
Been busy since new years but lots of cooking. Dino ribs. Brisket. Burnt ends and chicken wings are always a go to

We drove over Stevens pass on Friday and took my mother out for a little food holiday and hotel stay, then came back over Blewett and Snowqualmie passes on Saturday. Super fun but we always miss our own home and our own cooking.
