Haven't visited my local Korean restaurant for awhile. So, stopped by yesterday and ordered the same thing that I always order.

Beef Dolsot Bibimbap which is good but the "new" Korean beer they started serving -- Kloud -- wasn't. Oh well . . .

So, after months of hesitancy, I finally decided to use my SDFK. It blows through ~1 inch branches without blinking. It also blazes through a partially frozen roast with reckless abandon.



I intended to snap a pic of the finished product: Thai Basil beef with Jasmine rice and carrot and red pepper salad. But, I happened to eat a dozen raw Thai chilies in a rather short time and nearly went on an unexpected journey.

So, sadly, there are no pics as of yet. Maybe I’ll remember to take one when I devour the leftovers.

Treated myself on the way home to my favorite beer store. And one of their delicious Cuban sandwiches on ciabatta !!!!

Sunday mixed grill.

We drove over Stevens pass on Friday and took my mother out for a little food holiday and hotel stay, then came back over Blewett and Snowqualmie passes on Saturday. Super fun but we always miss our own home and our own cooking.

My wife took a crack at sourdough, using a 100 year old starter that my buddy gave us. It turned out really good and that UF2 cuts it nicely.
