What's the best kershaw knife?

Depends on the budget... for a nice entry level knife, I would pick the Kershaw Chill. Other favorites are my Zing, Skyline, Cryo, and Leek.

Tough question, do you mean of all time or current production? What about limited release? Of the knives I have, I would have to say its a tie between OD-1 and G-10 Leek but then there is the Blur line too. There are other knives I want (Tilt, Tyrade G-10) but $$$ prohibit :(

My TILT! barely eeks out my JYDII in Ti/SG2 - even the 'blem'! No too distant - my ZT-0551.

Depends on the task. If we're talking purely light duty EDC, then the Skyline. Every person in this country should own a Kershaw Skyline. They should be issued by the government to every citizen on their 16th birthday. There is just no reason not to own one.

For more heavy duty tasks and/or tactical stuff, the Blur. When it comes to the Blur, you can kind of pick your poison on which version you want, but I'm partial to the carbon fiber 154cm limited edition and the S30V version.

The Leek. It may not be the best knife Kershaw ever made, but it's the only Kershaw I own multiples of and it's the only one in my EDC rotation. It's also the only AO knife I'm willing to carry. For me, it's on the short list of knives everybody needs to own . . . right alongside the venerable Buck 110 and the Chris Reeve Sebenza.

Blur, classic model that IMO is all you need in a pocket knife.

I agree, I have a lot of different knives, but for the price and size the blur is hard to beat. The handle to blade ratio is just right. The knife is tough enough without being over built and the liner lock on mine locks up perfect. I haven't used mine very hard, but from some of the reviews I have read it is capable of abuse and is durable.

Interesting how many different opinions there are. Just goes to show how consistently awesome Kershaw is.

My fav ZT would be the 350. Nice tank of a knife.

I'd have to go with the RAM as I don't have a Tilt and I only considered Kershaws and not ZTs. Tough call though as I also love the Bump, Blur, Leek and many others

Oh, I didn't know we were including ZTs. Now that my 561 has had the detente "tuned" I'd include that one, although the Zing is about a tenth the price and almost as much fun to flip. I went through a stage with Blurs, but have kind of lost interest in both the Blurs and the Leeks lately. Of course, that's why it's called "a rotation." Other folding knives I really like that aren't Kais include the Southard and the CRKT Eros (which has the same designer and scale profile as the Leek but a very different blade and it weighs under an ounce). I also wish Kai made a few knives with the Emerson wave feature and if they made a karambit that'd be really cool.

Well the leek I what started me on kershaw, and it is a truly amazing knife. However, the orange skyline with morrow land's custom clip has kicked it out of my pocket and travels with me everywhere for now. It is such a great, lightweight edc! When my knockout gets back from cerakoting it will be my edc, but only until I get my 0200 back from rival lol. The "best knife" really depends on the person carrying it, and the mood they are in. Being fickle, I figured it best to own MULTIPLE kai knives ;)

I have to say the Zing is a great flipper! I have one in all black and one in OD/black. Can't wait to get my hands on a damascus one

TILT of course! Otherwise I'd have to make mention of the Skyline, though I need to explore the Kershaw line more still (working on that).
