What's the best looking fixed blade in your opinion?

In my fixed blade collection, I keep coming back to this John Doyle creation, the "Gambler's Hideout Bowie":

Best looking fixed blade is my new Fallkniven A1. It's blade length, beautiful satin finish, light refracting off the swedge angles, it's pure Swedish perfection. Other knives have glittering hilts and encrusted handles, but they don't appeal to
me. The Fallkniven A1 is the best, I guess until I can afford a Dawson.

Extremely cool! Thanks for sharing.

This photo doesn't do the SOG Agency (second from top) justice, but it has a lustrous blued finish that I often just stare at. I bought the SOG Super Bowie (top) thinking it had the same beautiful finish (both are described as titanium-nitride), but it wasn't nearly as purty.

Now the knife below will not be faithful, she won't work and needs to be pampered constantly. But she has a certain tawdry beauty, or attraction. Still she's not a knife you'd want to take home to your bugout bag.

Finally, here's one that has its own beauty. It's the Ka-Bar my dad carried during the War. Every place he went, he enscribed it on the back side of his sheath! You can imagine how much it's worth to our family!

I think the Diskin Hunter collaboration between Matt Diskin and KAI is one of the best looking fixed blades. This knife is just begging for customization.

I just received this custom fixed blade made to my specs from Chad Nichols stainless blackout Damascus by my friend Gus Mendoza at Havana Knife Company.

My fallkniven volcano

jfk, the more you talk about and post your love for the Fallkniven Volcano the more I want, make that need, to get one. Is it the one knife to rule them all, almost like Bilbo's Elvish blade "Sting"? Please excuse the double metaphor/reference, or whatever I thought I was trying to say.

Where's all the beautiful Fiddleback Forge knives? If I owned one I'd post it for sure! I'm still trying to find a hiking buddy or bushboot.

Don't think I can narrow it down to one.

I'm thinking the David Mosier on the bottom may be my overall favorite.

Love the micarta on my Arkansas Traveler(bottom).

Snakeskin micarta looks great IMO.

I posted these knives not too long ago, but they are Still stuck in my head. There is something about Johns take on this classic design that resonates with me, and it just looks like it Wants to be used.

Didn't know he also made blades, apart from collecting them!

For myself, I've gone from being focussed entirely on folders to a growing appreciation for the custom Bowies and Fighters that are produced by uber-talented ABS makers. For now, I'll have to just content myself with photos and videos. My vote for the most beautiful fixed-blade is the 'Tsavo' by Sam Lurquin... but others come very close, like Nick Wheeler's Bowie models or Jason Knight's Kukri designs. That distinctive harpoon profile, though, and exquisite hamon, combined with a perfectly shaped handle that looks like it's made to lock your hand in place -- it's like the Bowie all other Bowies attempt to be, balancing the real with the ideal. No, it's probably not much like the blade Bowie used during the Sandbar Fight, or the knife that was likely taken as a souvenir by a Mexican soldier after Bowie's death at the Alamo. But I think Bowie would have been proud to inspire a knife like the 'Tsavo'.
