  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What's The Last Thing Your EDC Cut?

The last thing I cut today before jumping on the forum here was the mundane mail. Before that it was some high pressure hose we use at work. This week I am EDCing the CRTKM16.

I cut open a bunch of plastic bags with parts in them at work and then cut down the boxs that the bags came in.

Today I used my Spyderco Endura 4 to cut open a blister-pack of allergy tablets.

And then I sliced up the plastic webbing that held a six-pack of cherry Propel.

And later I used the Endura 4 to open a package, from a forum-member, which contained a Leatherman Juice (thanks again Jeff).

And then I used the serrated blade of the Juice to cut open another box, from a different forum-member, which contained a Benchmade Bali-song BM31 (thanks to you also, Scott).:D :D :D

I used my Centofante III to cut the plastic off a pack of paper plates, for a small party with good friends.:)

SBMF to chip concrete off of the trucks chute. Yes I drive a mixer and yes it is true, I beat the sh#t out of my knives.

In lab today, some extra-long cable ties needed trimming. The wire cutters on my Vic Spirit plus went through them so fast they didn't even know they were there.

This is an interesting subject, as my EDC got a good use this pm!! Our new animal sitter locked the door in the garage, that leads to the house, that we NEVER lock and a few other things. We ALWAYS, and only comr through the garage!! We were locked out of our house tonight!! Well, I thought I would go see if the bedroom sliding glass door was open, and it was!! BUT, there is a wood slat thing, that has a sliding lock at the top!! Well, we had to cut the slats closets to the lock, so we could get int the house tonight!! My Spyderco Spin and Atwood Solar Arc got a work out tonight!! And my Spin IS a very tough little knife!!! I AM impressed!!

i broke the seal on a can of copnhagen long cut today with my emerson cqc8 plain edge w wave. while sitting in my backyard.

Last thing my Spyderco cut today was....well, MYSELF:eek:

Carved a callous off my finger, nothing bloody ;)

Opened my mail when I got home. Used my Ritter Grip. One envelope had some cool stickers from RAT knives I'd asked for.

Mine is realy boring. I used my SAK Super Tinker to cut open bags of salt for my water softener. Heck, I even used the small blade. Before that I used my Benchmade 710 to shave some hair off my arm. I mean, how else would I know if it was still sharp :D

Large pizza box into eight pieces (both top and bottom into quarter sections) to make it fit in the kitchen garbage can, with my Mini Skirmish.

My SAK Soldier saved a life today ! LOL, at least thats what I told the elderly janitor who got his mop stuck in the escalator and would not let go of the handle.

Today I used my Kershaw Vapor II to open a giant bubble maker kit. I also used it to cut open a box to put into the recycle bin. (The box had contained several Cold Steel Delta Darts w/sheaths, and a Cold Steel African Walking Stick -- which is really cool!)
