What's the most expensive knife you have?

my most expensive knife is one I had for three days a LILE minature.....I had been looking at it for 6 years hidden in a display case they had wanted $800.00 for it .then $600.00.One saturday aftenoon at closing I asked what they would take for the knife $200.00 ,I said give it to me.I took it home and my wife went out the next day and bought(shocker) a special display box for it,she had never show any interest in my knives,but she said this one was special.Monday I get a call and said I had to bring the knife back as they had sold it on the interenet Saturday morning.I will admit it brought tears
to my eyes.I argured then got pissed and said I would bring it back tuesday.
as the deal was tainted and every time I looked at the knife it would bring back bad memories.Why was it the most expensive knife..... it was my best friends son that made me bring back the knife..... I thought he was a friend also.....and he sold the knife for $400.00 on the internet.

A Randall #1 (7", leather) that I had shipped to me in Iraq. Second most expensive is a Carl Rechsteiner custom fixed blade with mule deer antler tip handle and a beautiful sheath that I got when I came home at a gun show in Alabama.

Most expensive: a Howling Rat and sheath for I two buys. Including the two time shipping and one time insurance the total price is about $180,- .

I really wanted one but IMO quite a lot of money for en knife. I like the HR but I’m also satisfied with a €8,- Opinel.

I paid $1200 and some change for a MilDot Dwyer SMF a couple of years ago. Very nice knife but I ended up selling/trading it for other Striders. I don't see the point of spending that much on a knife anymore.
