What's the origin of your forum name?

I registered on here years ago just looking for info on a cool knife to buy, never intended to stick around!

I never even put much thought into a name, the first thing I thought of was bladefixation

Then a year or two ago I changed my email address to an invalid one accidentally and locked myself out of my account, so had to re register, just stuck a 2 on the end :)

Been a Pennsylvania State Constable for a long time. I'm in the 2nd year of my third term in office. Yes I said term. Constables are elected officers of the court with juristiction everywhere in the state. Even our so called State Police have limits on where they can operate. By the way our terms last six years.

I think it was AOL or some other 30 day internet trial.

I believe my first post was about a site that had the best price on an expensive knife I wanted.

The responses were a little odd (now I know why)

the odder they were, the more I persisted (before I spent $300.00 I needed information about that site.

It turned out the site was flaky.

I realize now I should have used a more descriptive name for myself, like , extremely handsome, intelligent man that can't write a proper sentence because it is part of his cover as a secret agent, but really "braddy" is shorter.

I backpack too, and this is my trail name, for obvious reasons. I'm always the chick with the knives...

"Jeeves" was the knickname I was given on my rugby team my freshman year of college, and it stuck... literally. There are still people who I'm good friends with who legitimately don't know my real name and only know me as Jeeves.

... as for the "rugby" part, it seems every time I try to register on a board, "Jeeves" by itself is taken, so I started throwing the "rugby" in front of it for obvious reasons.

Now I've just stopped bothering with Jeeves and learned to embrace the Rugby, haha.

ive just always been BadKarma i play a lot of videogames and it just carried over to everything else i do on the web. 05 was added because someone stole my name :(

I am the Hairy Moley one, not really. Thought the name sounded like a cheesey private eye always has been with me. Harrymole cause I got one!!:D

once in a great while, i am boring....maybe more than once in a while..aint getting any younger..or smarter either. With the exception of the knowledge attained here.

I'm afraid mine isn't anywhere near as interesting as some. I work at a nuclear plant (Nuke) and when I joined Blade Forums I was working straight midnights (six 12 hour shifts a week 1900-0700) during October. It was dark when I got to work and dark when I left (we commented that it felt like we were vampires, never to see the light of day, (Spook).

I have a friend from Minnesota who says Uff Da all the time and I started saying it. It means about the same as Oy Vay! or Holy Sh**!

UffDa!

My forum name is in honor of the late great John Coltrane AKA "Trane". He was and is the greatest jazz saxophonist who ever blew a note. His music speaks to me like no other and there is not a day that goes by that I don't listen to it.

Trane fan,

I'm with you about John Coltrane. My favorite record (the only one i would take if my house was burning): "Afroblue impressions". I listen to this record since 29 years!
About my forum name, it's a kind of modified dyslexiac way to pronounce my name in disorder.

dantzk.

First initials of my name, ie, Jennifer Suzanne. Matos was my maiden name. When I joined I figured it was a good excuse to use my maiden name again. :D
