I'll start by saying that I got my 1st sebenza (large plain 21) not too long ago. It is the finest crafted knife I've ever handled and I've carried and used it in the time I've had it.
From what I know of the knife and Chris Reeve, it seems like it was designed to be a utility knife, that with proper care and maintenance will last a lifetime. But I sometimes feel like it is TOO well built. To me, EDCing a Sebenza feels like driving a Ferrari to run errands. It just doesn't feel like it's living up to its potential.
What are your thoughts on the purpose of a Sebenza?
