I want to hear about how you've torture tested or flat out DESTROYED your knives! Cheap or expensive, I want ti see. Please post your pictures!

Here we go with my first one, the Kershaw Nerve:

Here I did a regrind on the blade to make it a reverse tanto style blade. I ground it on the concrete 😊

I dropped a Gerber gator while pouring a 6 inch thick concrete floor...it will never be seen again.

Looks like it was in a cracklin' fire.

Was alcohol involved? :)

Your right! I posted the wrong pic. How do you post pics in comments of bladeforums or tapatalk which is what im using. Im new to it. Yes! This is the result of me cremating him in a furnace I built of bricks in my backyard! 😈

I agree gerbers aren't my favourite but for a work beater that thing was tough.

I meant to post another picture. Sorry I'm kinda new to this tapatalk thing. I can't figure out how to post pics like right now for example.

Soon after finding out my Esee Zancudo was made in Taiwan, I didn't care what I used it for
prying, scraping, hitting pans etc. :barf:

The worst thing I have ever done to a knife? I once put one in the safe and didn't use it. I felt ashamed of myself and will never do that again. ;)

Hi Rappy. I don't know anything about the Zancudo, but have a look at the Spyderco knives that come out of their Taiwan factory. Near custom level quality. I'm not saying that there isn't some junk coming out of Taiwan but there are some very high level knives being created there too. :)

I have a broad blade hunter I cooked on now and then....meat strips, small fish fillets....Pop Tarts....

To post pics you need to upload them to a picture hosting site (I use photobucket), then copy the URL link provided with the picture there, and paste it in the comment;

If you have trouble pasting directly into the comment (as I do from my phone), use the "img" tab that is at the top of the comments box, (3rd one from the right). Paste it in there and it will post it in the comment for you.

Worst thing I ever did to a knife, was a few years back, i stabbed the poor innocent blade into my ex-wife's cold, black, wicked chest cavity; where a normal person's heart would be....

Oh wait, I never actually did that, only thought about it once or twice... Carry on ;)
