What's up with makers who don't respond to e-mails?

It can be frustrating if someone doesn't return an e-mail or phone call.
However, years ago I started looking at things with a different perspective...

I have two very good friends who are in business for themselves. One runs a race car shop and the other is a Corvette expert. They are both one man shows. They both told me that if they answered all the calls and e-mails they get every day, they would never get any work done. That doesn't take in to account the people that come by to just hang out and b.s all day.

I guess if a person has employees to help with the work, it would make it easier to free up time for communication. But then on the other hand, even a one man shop has to communicate some, or they won't get many customers

:) we are all human.

I guess I'm on both sides of the fence with this one. :o

IMHO this has been a good discussion. Perspectives have been shared from both "camps".

As surely as I see this from the customers perspective.... I think I can also see it from the perspective of the maker who is truly doing all he can to keep up.

Neither one of these perspectives include the "goofy" customer or the "lazy in his own time zone" maker......... both of those are a different story all together...... to me anyway.

Either way... I'll have to go with from I have Quoted from you above, KyleyHarris ...... well said.
