What's up with Ramanon?

Ramanon was easy going and there was always friendly help. Topics wandered with no problem. All posts were welcome. I never experienced any head butting there.

Nuts.

I'd like to see Bwray unbanned and back. If he would come back.

Good description.

Bummer that it isnt there anymore...Hopefully he will change hism mind or sell it to someone..

Bwray coming back?? I would like to see it as well...BUT after he was shown the door (and all that occured) I doubt it will happen

Andy ya just had to kill it before I could make any money over there huh?? :)

Well, I wouldn't have killed it to keep you away bro. I get all kinda ideas from your work.

Funny we haven't had any non canistas post here today though huh? Quitely sniggering to themselves today they are I'd guess.

Something tells me Ramanon will be back- I would hate to lose that connection.

Slick is one of the best gun guys around- seems to have one of everything, and has handloaded for it. ;)

Not to mention wickedgurlll's interesting stuff. :(

I'm writing for 4, err, rather, I make annoying & obvious posts in 4 different forums. The folks in this thread are the only ones I "know" who manage to do the same...

That's really a surprise. I just recently discovered Ramanon and really enjoyed hanging out there. I would be interested in helping ressurect it if that is a possibility.

I'm with you MisterSat. I really enjoyed hanging out there and showing my sheaths. The relaxed rules about selling, cursing, and linking etc made me feel quite at home. Its the schlubs that did the posting and knew nothing of the other issues that will suffer the most. Hope to continue seeing you around, bro.

Ramanon was cool, and I spent most of my time on the big knives forum. I liked it that people from all different forums could drop in and post there, and there was no specific brand pissing contests to mar things. Bill was cool, and seemed to have worked out the rules and way of dealing with things that contributed to the extreme step of his being banned here. I would like to see him back as well.

I hadn't posted there in several weeks, just too busy, and wish now that I had. I have several pics of my F1 and NL5 in Andy's sheaths that I wanted to post there in response to a thread, and some pics of another mfr. large knife. I heard from Ted that there was a BR group buy that I missed, which is just as well.

I hope this is just temporary.

That is a good point of it. One thing I always liked.

I had quit posting just recently. If someone other than Kevin were running it, I might return.

I'd never let one person keep me from posting somewhere. Rusty who was the mod here banned me without a warning and then refused to tell me why for the longest time. When I finally got him to talk to me and go unbanned I didn't have any problem being on this forum here and I'd say overall it probably helped us reach more of an understanding than if it would have never happened.

They won't be missed by everyone. It is a matter of class and proprieties to me. And taking shots at a dead man observe neither of the two.

Not touching that one with a 10 foot pole:thumbup: :D

Well it's really gonna suck big time if Ramanon folds. I wondered why it hadn't been up for the last couple of days but never imagined it would be down for good.:(
I mostly visited the Big Knife Forum there as I'm now monitoring several other forums that have nothing to do with knives and I just haven't had time to be everywhere. It's generally been late at night or early in the morning when I've been visiting the knife forums.

Just in case and in advance...

Any issues left unresolved at any other forum will *not* be settled here.

This has been a public service announcement.

Thats the thing really there will never be any kind of resolution, and there can't be. I never knew anything about those issues till now, but its easy to see they would never have been resolved. Its sad for me because I was really comfortable there, and was able to make some extra knife money too. Other mens arguments have stopped it, regardless of who was wrong or right, its over for me, and I didn't have any part to play. The majority of my friends there were in the same boat, and are out of contact now.

Thanks Nasty!

Another Ramanon re-locater checking in.
I actually own a HI Khuk so am I cool to just hang by the door until further notice?

While I realize that no one wants any cross forum BS anywhere I wonder if this would be the best place to check in for intel? I really supported the he__ out of that place and it's a b____ to see it gone.

I think about all that is known is what that has been said already. I think there may be a move afoot for some other folks to take it over rather than see it close down, but not sure the status of that.

What's your screen name over there?
