What's up with Ramanon?

I emailed CF that I would be interested in helping to get Ramanon back up again or maybe even take it over if he didn't want it anymore. He replied that he is already negotiating with someone to take it over.

I'm glad bladeforums is cool with us discussing other forums and not threatened by it like some forums I have visited. After all, I think most of us are members of or at least cruise multiple forums. There's room for everybody.
 
I think as long as you're just discussing what is happening you are ok, but if we get to pimping it if it opens back up then we'd be crossing the line. That's what I got after getting in trouble about it here once before:eek:

I hope it does re open cause we had some good posts. I hate to lose that Nessmuk Knife thread. That was the coolest collection of pics of the Neonessies yet!
 
Talked to CF not long ago. Apparently the original person who expressed an interest in taking it over fell thru :confused: but I think some other folks were interested so there's still hope it will come back up.
 
Wondered about the Nessie thread. I hoped you had saved the collection of images.

Hope CF is doing ok.
 
Thank you all for the welcome I've been here with BF for longer than I've been at Ramanon but it's still nice to know I'm welcomed here.

As far as someone else taking over, I'd be happy to lend support and what ever else I can do to keep it running. I thought we were doing well, everything seemed to be moving along at a smooth pace. I'm wondering if CF is ok or what the deal is. So HD Fiddleback, MrSat,Kis, and Howie you guys keep me posted on what's going on and if I can pitch in anywhere.

Before I forget HD in answer to your question I am the one and only, the nefarious, and slightly squishy Squeezie. ;)

No I didn't save any except the ones I personally took.:eek:

CF is ok I think but he can't say anything here cause he's banned:D

Yea I wish I had saved that Nessy thread as well...I got the idea to make my own from looking at all of those that were posted...

That one by Areil is a work of art IMO!

I was highly impressed by the one you did. The overall style of it. Yours didn't really copy any of the designs but was unique but had the style down pat:thumbup:
 
Nothing new to report about Ramanon. I was offered the site this past week but just felt I'm not all that computer savvy and really didn't feel that I could put in the time needed. I was a mod over at Rammy and was taken by surprise when the plug was pulled. Really did like the friendships, casualness and information passed around over there. It will be missed!
 
well, we can always remember that to be followed home by a stray dog is a sign of a impending wealth.

Always liked that byline. I think being followed by a stray dog is sign of good luck, and a good heart.
