whats ur favorite stockman

One of my, will never sells, is a old Buck 303 I recycled a piece of elephant ivory I was given from a grip of an old .45 auto. The best way to say it is, the wild spirit of the tusker is in the knife. 300Bucks

This 307 is just to make Rex covet in his heart.

Buck 301
Schrade 8OT
early 1970s or earlier Case 6332
early 1970s or earlier Case 6347
Case CV Sowbelly
Moore Maker (Queen) Sowbelly
Moore Maker (Queen) Large Stockman
Vintage Schrade Cut Co

Case 6332. Jigged bone 70s stockman with half stops, a rare bird but the best of both worlds IMO. Also has a pen in lieu of the spey.

Shhhhh... it's an undervalued gem. ;) Great pattern.

My favorite medium stockman is the Schrade 899 and the GEC 82 is my favorite large stockman

The only one I have, at the moment.

I love that shocking blue handle. Reminds me of an old song.
My favorite- I like the stainless steel pivot pins, among other things.

This GEC 53 pretty much trips all my triggers for a stockman. The california clip rides low in the frame giving room for the nail nick of the sheepsfoot to be on the mark side of the knife also. Plus the sheepsfoot rides pretty low itself, which I like when using the other blades in a knife. And finally, I converted the spey blade into a pen blade, which I like more.

I don't EDC this, but if I were restricted to one knife this would be it. (Tempted by the Dixie Stockman, though!) ;)

I don't always carry a stockman, but when I do it's probably a Schrade.

Specifically, this frame in one of its many incarnations:

Inspired by Will Power, I broke down and succumbed to the ways of the Dixie Stockman.

I don't know if it's my favorite stockman, (I only have one and clearly more research is required...) but it's my favorite GEC to date.

You made a fine choice Dr M.:D

That Osage Orange is some very nice gear!

Thanks, Will
