What's your at work knife and your occupation?

I work as a 1st assistant camera in the film industry here in Vancouver.
I usually rotate my pocket EDC, lately its between an orange Spyderco Endura FFG and a Benchmade ti Pika II
Then I'll carry a Lighting OTF in my belt pouch.
And finally a SOG power assist multi-tool in my ditty bag

I'm an AH-1W Super Cobra pilot. I carry whatever will fit nicely in the shroud cutter pocket on my flight suit. Usually a Caly 3.5 or a Leek with a low ride clip. It gets used mostly for cutting papers in half to fit on my kneeboard. Theres a Pacific Salt or some sort of auto in our survival vests as well.

I'm a sheet metal fabricator. I carried a lightweight Native for the past year and a half, got a Native 5 last week. I also carry a SOG Pocket PowerPlier with the blade removed and a large screwdriver bit in it's place.

Part-time produce in retail. Spyderco Brown Delica Ffg, SOG Flash I, Victorinox Alox Cadet, and a Victorinox Rambler Stayglow on my keychain. And every now and then a POS box cutter.

Howdy all my first post on blade forums.
I work at a fly in fly out gold mine as a fixed plant operator in the harsh Australian desert. My EDC at work is an endura and leatherman wave.

I work as an analyst. Lots of numbers... I generally carry a small Sebenza tanto or a BM 470 Emissary. Gotta keep it very small.

I work in Air Force Comm. NCO, so doing a lot more admin/paperwork these days, but I still get to do some nitty gritty stuff. My work knife is a Doug Ritter Mini-Grip with orange g-10 cuscadi handles, when I am expecting a project. The rest of the time I carry a Spyderco UKPK drop point Foliage Green g-10, since it is UK legal. I always have a leaf blade UKPK Foliage Green g-10 I wear on a neck sheath at all times, as my backup.

I am currently a college student. (I like to think it counts as a job). And while the rules say that knives are not allowed on campus, my case peanut has only ever gotten me out of trouble. My professors have even borrowed it on a few occasions. off campus it is usually a spyderco salt1 (it rains a lot here) and a smallfly. but my emerson cqc 13 and benchmade 530 or ffg delica also are frequent companions.

Developer at a well known software company. Benchmade Mini Rukus, used for for fighting off dangerous software boxes, and batoning unruly laptops. :-)

I should add, I just recently got a Para Millie 2 as a gift, and am starting to carry that on alternating days.

So which one tackles bugs and defects????

Hospital pharmacist. We have a no weapon rule so I keep it 3 inches or less. Spyderco Caly3 cf sees alot of time. Just got a Meerkat to try out. Delica and if I'm working the weekend and feel adventuresome I'll carry my 3 Sisters Forge Beast or a Mini Commander. Always have a Leatherman squirt in my left front pocket.

I thought I'd do a "what is your EDC" with a twist.. so I'll start:

Used to be CS Recon 1 or BM 710 as an EMT

Now, CS medium voyager or BM minigrip as a medical student (they have a generic "no weapons" policy without defining what that means, so I play it safe with a 3" or less knife)

Are you in class or on rotations?! Depending on where you go to school/do your rotations this could be an easy way to fail a rotation. However, I have always debated to carry or not. I usually don't b/c until I graduate or even exit residency this could be potentially look down upon. As low man on the totem poll that's you're absolutely trying to avoid this. I stopped even bringing anything in to the hospitals and leaving it in a locker or whatever shaft they give us to store our crap in because it's not doing much good there and I thought it would just get stolen. If anything I would recommend the CRK Mnandi it's small, nonthreatening, lightweight, and looks like a pen clipped into your pocket. Regardless of what you carry I'd be weary of who you pull it out in front of... which totally sucks trust me I agree!

University lecturer.

Delica with jeans or CRKT M16-14SFG with cargos strong side pocket. Tac pen clipped in pants pocket on off-hand side.

I'm a Union Electrician and I usually carry a Spyderco Gayle Bradley or Spyderco Paramilitary 2 in CTS-20CP. When it comes to just straight wire stripping then I use a custom knife made for me by a fellow JD forum member.
