Whats your best Slicer?

Murray Carter hand-forged Yanagi Ba. It will produce slices so thin they are translucent.

Probably my ancient Old Crafty slippie....it`s thin, carbon-steel blades take a razor edge with just a few passes on the diamond stick....

Best slicers, right out of the box, production knife.

R.H. Forschner 8" Chef's, Beretta Loveless FB, Opinel #9 carbon

My best slicers would be my Mayo TNT, my Todd Begg knives, and my Yuna.

Best slicer, hands down, Lone Wolf T2. It's a perfect implementation of a flat ground blade.

Sharpest may be my Sebenza though... it widens more quickly than the T2, making it slightly less of a slicer, but it's sharp enough to whittle hair. And it took off the tip of my finger, too.

57 folders, 40 are tactical folder types and 17 are slippies. Nearly all the slippies are better slicers than the tactical folders. My favorite slicer is my Case Amber Bone Stockman SS.

As far as tactical knives go, my small seb does slice pretty well. I did put a 30 degree inclusive main bevel on it. I still have a 940 that hasn't been sharpened yet but I bet it's a mean slicer.

Otherwise I would say the Opinel.

I'm gonna have to go with my recently rebeveled BM 710D2. I have it down to about 9 degrees per side  and hair whittling sharp. That coupled with the recurve blade shape makes it a scary slicer :D

This convexed K2 Dozier I purchased from a forum member is my best slicer. It isn't quite as pretty as in this pic anymore, but it is just as sharp.:D

Dozier K1. The combination of the blade geometry and the D2 steel with Dozier's heat treat make it a magnificent slicer.

The Spyderco Sage is my most carried slicer. This one though is going to get a workout soon. I believe it will rank highly....

Currently the best slicer (for food prep, anyway) is my Caly3 with my SAK a close second. Dunno if that'll change when my Small Sebenza arrives Monday.

I'd say my Para-Military and my Military when it gets here since it's basically just a longer version of the Para

My best slicer is definitely my Kershaw JYDII w/ Ti handle and SG2 blade. The SG2 is amazing. It's a folding scalpel.
