What's your Cold Steel EDC today?

Side-by-side Sunday, checking out the full set of old school Cold Steel manual OTFs...the ER¹,SR¹, and MR¹😁

Counterpoint XL with Snaggletooth is riding in my pocket tonight.

This may be my absolute favorite large folder. My Rajah I is a beast and my Espada XL is a friggin' folding cutlass. I love em both.

But this? It's the perfect size. The best thing I can compare it to is a Scottish dirk; a do-it-all tool capable of light chopping and self defense. Great ergonomics, helluva reach, and the Snaggletooth makes it lightning fast to deploy.

I carried a Counterpoint I for years and still love it. But this takes it to a whole different level.

Also I love bayonet grinds. So there's that.

I should probably try one of those, but I carry IWB so the bulk of the handle always discouraged me.
The Hold Out (which is definitely Dirk inspired) is my favorite XL folder, followed by the Frenzy, then the Vaquero. The Frenzy carries the best, followed by the Hold Out. Vaquero comes in last for both carry and versatility but in those cold winter months when everybody has heavy jackets and stuff...it's a good life insurance if you know what I mean...
