What's your Deer hunting blade this year?

First and foremost is my Randall #11. It has been processing dead animals for better than 20 years now. O1 Steel, and holds it's edge.
Second blade is by Tim Olt, in CM 154 steel. So far, it has cleaned two hogs and some small game. It won't have any problem with deer.
Third blade is also in O1 steel. It is by Lance Ockenden over in the UK. Better known around here as "Driftwood". This is an amazingly ergo friendly blade, and as they say, sharp as a razor.
All of these blades are right around thee and a half inches, with very comfortable handles.

man, those are some mighty fine knives.

Buck Vantage, just as it has been. After the first deer, I may try something else, but this has worked very well thus far for me.

Heh, Gerber shines for me. 300lbs white tail done this year, 6X6 thank you very much. :D

For walking around, the same old CS Master Hunter of years past. That, plus a SAK Recruit and whatever other random knives I discover in my pocket. A Sebenza. Mora #1 made it into the lineup.

Either the Queen Mountain Man or the BRKT Fieldsman, probably the Queen since I don't use it much I know it's sharp

thanks :) yeah I'm not over there too much myself, it's a little slanted towards urban doings- the opposite here :D

Been waiting 9 months to get this bloody..

You won't find this on his website.. It is the only one Gene has ever made like it.. Jigged Micarta, .250 thick at the spine..

It is well balanced and a thing of beauty..

My hunting/survival knife is the same as last year (though it hasn't been used yet to gut a deer(didn't get a deer last year, haven't gotten to go hunting yet this year)). My Colt CT286. Currently looking for a smaller knife to accompany it.

I'll use whatever I happen to be carrying at the time. I know it'll do the job, or I wouldn't be carrying it.

Will be using my Buck Zipper agin this year, its not with me at college at the moment so had to use a stock pic.

My primary blade will be this David Farmer in L6 and bamboo, but I think I will also take the Schlieper 99S-DS folder.
It has the most aggressive saw blade I've ever seen on a knife--should be good for clearing limbs from my stand.
