What's your Deer hunting blade this year?

This has become my favorite outdoor knife, and Eddie White Model IX.

Although I planned on using my BK-14, I grabbed my Kershaw Oso Sweet from my pocket and went to town, just barely shaving sharp when done quartering.....Needless to say I was very impressed.

I went with my Swamp Rat Ratmandu this year.

Made for a great all around deer camp/field knife.

so far this year I have used a buck 119 a couple times a mora 711 a few times a case sod buster once benchmade mini grip once an izula twice

BTW, I don't even hunt deer thesee were all brought to me by family an friends I skin em an clean em for the tenderloin ofcoarse :D

I have had a SOG Hunter Revolver for several years and it is AWESOME for field dressing and skinning the deer. Use the blade and gut hook to get inside Push a button, spin the blade to a saw and split the pelvis and crack the sternum to pull out the uppers. My camp partners are jealous of it.

My new knives will hopefully see a nice cornfed doe and buck this December ... they are a Swamp Rat howling rat LM and the new zero tolerence 0551. I also picked up one of the longer stainless moras (748?) for processing the meat.

I got a call from my buddy down in ARK who I helped with this F1...he took it out hunting for the first time a couple weeks ago and bagged one. He said it worked like a dream.....I guess the weather was too bad for taking pictures....
