what's your edc knife?

For work, a Spyderco Delica ZDP189. It's light, easy to access and open, not to scary for the sheeple. Holds an edge FOREVER! :-) For dressier situations, a Queen slipjoint or small SAK.

For outside of work, a Benchmade 710 D2 or 941. A little less sheeple-friendly, but not too bad and will handle about any knife duty.

Stay sharp,

My EDC consists of a SAK Farmer, Spyderco Para-Military, and a Surefire E1L. Those 3 things are always with me, if I've got my pants on.

These, at the moment:

I've been carrying the Trekker for quite a while, but wanted something easier and quicker to use onehanded. I usually carry a fixed blade, but recently switched to the MUDD 0500.

Today I cut open a big cardboard container, which was sitting on sawhorses. I laid the MUDD on the top of the carton and turned away for a moment; the wind caught the cardboard flap and flipped the knife onto the concrete.

I blew the concrete dust off and put it back in my pocket.

Ranger Green SnG and a SAK Farmer, everyday, without exception. I may have others on me, but these 2 are always there.

I have carried the Needs Work the most in the last two weeks and there is always a multi on my belt. I have never reformed my EDC because of the sheeple. You should see the looks on their faces when I flik the blades open on my Kershaws, but they get over it.

I have about ten folders with pocket clips that see regular duty. I change every day or two. HOWEVER I carry the Vic explorer every day bar none.. I have for thirty five years, so far.

Probably my Victorinox scibeer-modified Farmer with scissors, or my Case 6344 medium stockman, or my Case 6347 stockman, or my old Benchmade "de-horned" MIni-AFCK...well, you get the picture! I have a number I swap out for EDC.

the SAK and Micra are both on my keychain.....the buck 373 is usually carried in my front left pocket, and the harpy is carried IWB behind my right hip...

of the 4 that i EDC, the order from most used to least used goes like this: 1. SAK, 2. Micra, 3. 373, 4. Harpy.....harpy never gets used as i carry for self defense, and luckily i've never had to pull it...

Had this for a couple of weeks, she now sports a convex and performed great on the weekend camp.
