What's your favorite Becker

I agree, but the Esee 5 is right there.......

I've never actually seen an esse 5 in person or held one cool

I've handled the 5 in a store before but that's the extent of my experience. Honestly I prefer the handle shape of the Beckers to that of esse5. The only one I liked and will eventually buy is the esse6, but it's at the bottom of my list.

Good eye. I had ta go back and look. I thought they were all grivory handles

The more I look at them I don't think they are micarta. They look like he did that with a wood burner or solder iron. Knife handle stippling

Definitely micarta, you can tell by the grain pattern. Plus he's confirmed it twice now lol[emoji6]

He does good stuff and goes above and beyond in customer service. I've have two set from him. The were nicer when new but it's a well loved knife along with every knife in the case
