What's your favorite Becker

Yep looks good, I plan on having the same combo soon. Is that a double leather magazine holster on the left?

I do love my bk9 too, and it's ridiculously sharp but the 2 is my go to all purpose.

Looks Awsome. What all did u do to it? Just strip it?
It was sandblasted and sharpened by Josh at razor sharp knives, I got it like this from the knife exchange. It was ridiculously sharp when I got it, but I polished the edge up a lil and made even sharper.

Really nice

It's a good combo to have. A very useful pair. And no, the pouch is a double sheath and sharpening steel/stone/magnesium stick holster. The knife fits snugly in it.

Beautiful

Thanks, man!

What did u do to your 9 ? Strip it ? Polish it?

I just used sandpaper for the entire thing. I went up to about 600 so as to leave a bit of satin. I went for a partial strip, though. I think it looks cool.

Awsome job

I just bought a BK2. Our nephew showed up here a couple of weeks ago with an Esee 5. I fell in love with it. Researching I found the BK2 with excellent reviews at 1/2 the price. Same steel and better handle. I'm not thrilled with the sheath (I ordered the 22) It is unhandy on my belt because of its length on overkill in every feature. An option is to lash it to something else close by. I ordered a leather sheath form a maker on EBay with an expected deliver of this Saturday. Hopefully the new sheath will take care of the belt carry problem. I'm looking forward to putting the knife through it paces.

Great choice. You will be very happy with it I'm sure!!!!

Ka-bar actually uses 1095CV, an upgraded version of the 1095 ESEE uses, so the BK2 has better steel than the ESEE-5 for half the price. I'd say the sheath on the BK2 (the hard plastic one, not the nylon one) is still pretty unwieldy but might be better than the nylon, but I'd say invest in a good custom kydex and make the sheath an asset rather than a detractor. I currently strap most of my knives to my pack so I don't have to worry about comfortable belt-carry as much, I only belt-carry when I'm hanging closely around camp doing camp stuff and need a knife quickly at any time.

From my experience having a friend own both the ESEE Junglas and ESEE-6, the Becker BK9 and BK2 are more than comparable to those knives and are more reasonably priced, so overall a better choice for me. I'm sure you'll enjoy the BK2 just as much as the ESEE you held.

Well I only have a bk 10 so far so I'd say it's my favorite so far lol.
But I do like the smaller neck beckers
