the buck 181FL odyssey in ATS34. A truely great little folder that was tougher than it looked.

I have a couple now that are not the ATS 34 but rather the 420 and they are lacking in edge holding. Mine was lost (borrowed?) at the Gym.
181 FL.. I had to look it up.
Yep.
That's what has been clipped to my wallet all of these years
Pretty solid and nice and light.
I too lost one and fleabayed another one in.
This one has the combo edge, which is fine by me.

greetings: It would have to be the Buck Custom Shop 503. This is the stag-handled one done by Wilde Bill Cody. The action is superlative and the fit and finish is flawless. A close second is the 532 by Bob Timberlake with the elk and Burl wood and the hammered chip flint type blade. Take care, Rob

I have used many Buck Knives .Colt for a every day one and My Kalinga for hunting are my favorites.

Thought I'd revive this thread with an update: that Folding Hunter I got moved into 1st place. Yeah, my 110 is a sentimental favorite, but for sheer style the 277 is hard to beat.

My Pathfinder 105 has travelled with me around the US, it is like an old friend. My everyday carry is a Buck 110 Alaskan. I wish I could get an Alaskan with nickel bolsters and finger grooves.
