What's your favorite fixed blade?

If the face youre reffering to looks like a snake head, then i see what you mean! Freaky stuff hahah i like the photo even more now.

Im glad to hear the chiral systen works. I do plan on getting a few once i stop spending my savings on more knives haha

And thanks, same! I have not come across many non-european reviews of TRC's, so its great to find some people on here who have discovered them.
The xs splinter definitely looks super handy and low-profile.

If the elmax is stopping you, you can opt for M390 in the k1 if youre a fan of that steel.
In fact i am pretty sure you can customize most parts, if not all of his blades. That's the impression i got while emailing him anyway.

If you're eager to get more designs but are held back by questions, i encourage you to email him because I can say eith ease, he is most helpful and friendly knife maker ive dealth with

That is great to hear! I have been considering the K1 as well, but when I get ready I might just hit him up for a k1s in M390, since he might be open to that. Thank you!

We're like brothers from another mother..lol My CPK Field Knives are at the top of my list with my Survive! 3.5,4.1,4.7,5,6,and 7/7's, along with some of my Busse's and Rat's. I do also like a few of my Bark Rivers like the Bravo 1LT and Bushcrafter. It's tough to decide what are our "favorites" because it'll change for me. Just too many knives and not enough time to go play. :)

Lol, yes indeed brotherman! :) I know you have a bunch of nice steel for sure. I always thought that LT model made sense for the Bravo. I have a gunny hunter and liten bror that I like pretty well.

My k1s in Elmax seems to out perform my k1 in m390 in every aspect including ease of sharpening maybe it's opinion or superior heat treat I don't know but I'm sold on his elmax I also have a Vanadis 4 extra urban tactical that is really nice maybe tougher than the elmax but not preferred by me jmho

For looks, it would have to be the old M3 Trench knife. Love the looks of that knife.

From looks and practicality, probably a Survive GSO or a Carothers Field Knife. The GSO looks duty ready and says "let's go" but the Carothers has sexier lines.

I dont have a whole lot of nice fixed blades but I do love my Carbon V Trailmaster.

I agree with Standard78 & Hard Knocks.....the Field Knife!
My 4.7 is a very close second though

That picture is like pouring salt in a wound for someone like me. I would love to own both of those knives.

Here are a few of my favorites, but it's like asking which of my kids I love most. Like Hard Knocks, Standard, Karoi, and several of the other guys. I like knives made by Survive!, CPK, Bark River, Busse, Swamp Rat, Koster, and a few other knife makers. At the moment Survive!, CPK, and Bark River are my go too companies.

Survive! knives 7/7 and the CPK Field Knife in D3V.

I've been really liking one of my Survive! 5.1's lately.

Probably my field knife - a Bryan Breeden custom from my drawing/specs.
