What's your favorite GEC?

The Bullnose is my favorite, with the 73 and 15 ranking high up there as well! Here is a shot of a few of my 20+ Bullnoses, all handle and pivot variations should be present int he photo.

What would you rate the pull on those Bullnose?

My favorite is the #71 Bull Nose - specifically, these two. I carry and use one or the other daily.



The pull on these as well as the other four #71s I have is average - say a heavy 5 or a six. Some start out with a heavier pull but quickly soften to a 5/6.

I'm going to agree with Ed's assessment, they rate a 5 or 6. Every Bullnose I've ever received I've been able to pinch the blade open and it gets slightly easier with some use. They come about as perfect as it gets for blade bull in my book.

I was thinking higher because I thought the #15's were a 5. Guess I have no clue when it comes to the pull scale. My Bullnose feels like it's not loosening up as fast as yours but I just need to work it a little more with some mineral oil.

One thing I forgot when I ordered the Bullnose was to ask for a bail.

Well, I only have a few. The 2012, 2013 Forum knives but the #56 dogleg bare end jack that's my current EDC is definitely a favorite. Got a 2014 Forum knife on order as well. My next purchase will probably be a variation of a GEC #15.

My new Northwoods Hawthorne in Mammoth, has got to be my favorite, but my EDC is a #92 in Grizzly cut bone.
