My favorite? Colt Python of course.

For a rimfire, I like my Ruger Mk II with a TacSolutions alum. barrel.
My revolver is a Freedom Arms Model 97 in 357.

The lowly Ruger P95

The reliability, durability and quality are off the scale for the price paid.

Other guns come and go--the P95 always seems to stay.

There's nothing to be ashamed of in owning a P95 (or two... or 3). The P-Series Rugers are the best bang for the buck that there is as far as I'm concerned. I prefer their decocker models. I have 3 P89's, a P94, P97 and a P90. They're all decockers.

They are big, robust and accurate for what they are. I've owned 2 P95's but I really prefer the metal framed guns to plastic.

I too have one of the ruger decockers that was actually my first gun (aside from a little .22 breach loader) I've had for 6 years

Ruger Mark I, 7.5 inch target barrel.

I still have it, and have probably shot 60,000 rounds through it. I bought it well used too.

I have a Ruger Mark 2 with a 6" barrel, and inherited it from my dad. It is a great gun. I need to go shooting again.

Living in MA, options are limited, but I'm a big fan of my 1982 S&W Model 65-2 .357 Magnum. 4 inch barrel with a set of Ahrends Retro Combat Grips in Padauk. Hard to beat an old S&W K frame. It's the perfect size for me, has the versatility of both .38 and .357, and it shoots like a dream. There's nothing better to me than the simplicity and reliability of a well built wheelgun.

Armithius how many magnum rounds can you shoot at a clip before your hand goes numb. That's the problem that I always had with 357.

Some mighty fine shooters in this thread! Here's my winter carry. She's a dandy lil' pony!
