Outdoor Research Seattle Sombrero. I live in NW Oregon, and don't like hoods or umbrellas, and this hat (in all but the worst conditions) provides ample protection from rain and snow. It is gore-tex, and doesn't lose its shape when I fold it up and toss it in my pack.
My Akubra Snowy River. Especially in the rain or snow.
If its just cold, I wear a Carhart knit watch cap.
Fishing in the summer I wear a First Gen desert camo boonie but only if its too hot for the black Akubra.
