What's your favorite non-knife piece of gear?

My favorite piece of nonknife gear is my Trangia stove in a ClikStand.

I also like my Mosquito Hammock (Expedition model).

And any of several silnylon tarps I have.

Oh, and my Thinsulate poncho liner.

binocular (fujinon FMTR 8x30), field scope (kowa 88mm),
Svea123 stove,
and at this time of year, these are my favorite gears without no doubt.

I'd have to say my blue North Face fleece shirt. I bought it on discount about 5 years ago and it has been EVERYWHERE with me, from tropical beach to Arctic tundra. Still looks great. I'm also partial to my (again) North Face day pack. Same deal, everywhere I go, it goes.

Other stuff:

-My gaiters
-Jetboil stove
-My outdoor/wilderness books
-My rifle
-Suunto Observer watch

Hennessey Hammock
Wenonah Solo-Plus canoe
Arcteryx Bora 80 pack

Each one is a great piece of gear, has held up over the years and fit my outdoors activities perfectly.

I've got a GI Gortex liner - which is basically a fleece jacket, but that thing is awesome. It's super comfortable and has armpit vents. I wear that thing everywhere.

My kayaks get a good bit of use also - I love 'em.

Arcteryx stinger jacket...probably my favourite non-knife piece of gear.

Karrimor sabre 60-100...could be my second favourite, I think.

Of course there's guns as well, but that's a whole other thread!

If we are talking non-wilderness gear I have an HSGI Armordilla that I like a lot. I haven't seen many around yet but I think they will be very popular. Mine is in smoke green.

Probably my 40 year old Coleman one burner camp stove which has never missed a beat.

It would be a toss up between our pontoon boat or the Marlin 336 given to me by a friend that was closer to me than most my family. He has since passed on, so the rifle would probably be my most prized piece of gear. The pontoon boat has taken me and many friends/family on all kinds of outdoor adventures: from camping, hunting, fishing, snorkeling, etc. I have even used it to take board members of the local National Audubon Society, and other folks, on guided "tours". It is large enough for 8 grown adults to be comfortable for the day, or four to camp on overnight while catfishing. It is small enough to navigate the main channels of the cypress swamp our camp is on.

I have to correct my previous post. My choice is my family.;)

My kids gather firewood and scare off predators and my wife feeds me. Great gear.:D

I was going to say my Fenix L2D, but Stomper reminded me - it would have to be my books! :D 40+ years for me.

I used to have a Marlin 336C in .35 Remington. It was a beautiful little gun. Wish I still had it.

I'd have to post books as another. If it weren't for books, my furniture would be empty.
