  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What's your favorite US-made Spyderco?

I have noticed that a few retailers use "Country of Origin: USA" if the blade steel came from the USA. Many if not most of the Taichung models are mislabeled in this way on such web sites. This had me confused about some models for awhile...

I wonder how many returns they get from the die hard American made folks?
Before I became aware of the Taichung quality Spyderco's I most certainly would have been one of those folks.

My first Golden is on its way.. DLC FFG Manix2!! And I am jazzed!! John

After four non-US made Spydies and two byrds, my first US made Spydie is on the way--a black G-10 plain edge Military!

I only own three US-made Spydercos--a UK Penknife, a PM2 and an original Manix C95. I like them all but I carry the PM2. I guess that would be my favorite.

Definitely the manix line. Beefy folder for an affordable price. Plus they come in many different varieties for those who like collecting ;)
