what's your go-to blade for the outdoors??

Rat3. it does it all and still rides comfortably on my hip. Really nice for mountain biking.

In general I would say my Busse Mud Razor, but sometimes a smaller knife like my Bark river Fox River and Bravo 1.

Nessie by Fiddleback. F1. A great knife handmade by Derek of DLG knives (look him up-very talented)

My WLC school knife, the BRKT Fox River

Either my RD-4 or my Cold Steel Master Hunter in Carbon V.

I am seriously thinking my next knife will be a mini-Northstar or a FI.

Right now my 510. Soon it will probably be my Koster Bushcraft.

I may definitely add the KaBar Heavy Bowie, because after some strokes with a ceramic rod it become my sharpest knife by far.

Right now, (until the Lord leads differently) I am hooked on a Busse Basic 5 as my favorite Fixed blade, and a Large Classic Seb as my Folder.

I'm on a Busse kick right now, so I'd have to say either a Busse BATAC CG or a Scrap Yard Yardkeeper LE, which arrived yesterday.

The YK is a fantastic little blade, like a CS Master Hunter on steroids. Incredibly thick spine, so although its only a 4 incher, you can still baton the crap out of it.

The BATAC is a great all-rounder though. Not too big, not too small. It can handle pretty much anything with a good SAK as back-up.
