what's your go-to blade for the outdoors??

That second Siegle with the reddish grips might just be the most perfect knife I have ever seen Doc. If you ever decide it needs a new home gimme the shot! Whats the name of it, specs and is he making anymore? Thanks man!

IT THE "HUDSON BAY" KNIFE Bill Siegle makes

here are some of the knives he made

Bill can make any of these-or anything you can design yourself

Oh man.

The Hudson Bay knife, that has to be remembered...I'll look him up and see what he can do as far as metal and pricing. Thanks Doc!

as seen before here was my trio, things have changed since this pic. Ontario Sp8 has been replaced with a CS trailhawk or my folding pruning saw (haven't decided yet) and the leatherman with a SAK campion +. I'm really looking forward to my Koster bushcraft and that will probably be my go to blade for many outings.

Yikes, I feel under-dressed. Unless I'm getting seriously far afield for days at a time, all I need is a large Sebenza.

:)Neh. Just showing off. Nine out of ten days all I have is Foschner 12" Chef Knife and a Manix. The Forsch stays in the Truck though. :D

18" Ontario USGI Machete! Does everything I need, and more.
And at $20, I'm not going to be crying if I lose it - even though it is heavily modified, It wouldn't be too much trouble to buy a new one and sand off the coating and polish it.

p.s. I really like the look of those Rats; I just can't justify buying one. And my Machete would get jealous.

This one is hands down my favorite and goes every single time

but one or both of these usually come along also.

I've seen a lot of these NWA forum knives. Where do you get these? They look really nice.

My go-to outdoor knife is my Skookum Bush Tool.

Have you ever compared it to the Fallkniven H1 by chance? I've only compared pictures of them, and never handled either, but they look extremely similar. Just curious if you had ever seen/heard of a comparison.

Lately I tend to reach for my Northstar because its my latest and greatest, but I always keep coming back to my Mini Canadian for casual woodswalking - it's just to easy to carry.

i always strap on my bk7,grab my walking stick and 18 year old cat and just stroll around the back yard.
