Those are awesome! Something about that purple one I cannot quite explain. Never thought I would say that about a purple knife, but I am drawn to that knife. The other one is obviously awesome. I do love the thumbstud lock. I do not understand why it is not used more often.

There are "grail" knives, and "holy grail" knives. My "grail" knife, which is one that has been made, is a two-tone Hinderer XM-18 Hellfire. My "holy grail",which is a knife that has not been made yet, is a Hinderer XM-18 with a Timascus lock side, LSCF scale, and Damascus Hellfire blade.

Mine would have to be a spyderco dodo, I just haven't had the 150$ and up to drop on a folder yet.
And sorry i spelled the title wrong.

My "Grail" would have to be my never used RJ Martin Q-36 in LSCF & s35vn, mirror finish. So smooth, I own a few RJ Martins, and this one is unbelievable, I think Phil B. would agree. Talk all the shit yo want about s35vn, but it takes a hell of a Polish. Why do you think so many makers are going to that steel. I think all the fuss about problems with this steel is directly connected to Chris Reeves Knives, he just won't harden it enough. And these guys that use his Knives act like if the steel performance isn't up to snuff, than the steel must be no good. I'll tell ya, it's the blind leading the blind. I think he'll learn. I want to see at least HRC 60-61. My Holy Grail would have to be a Black Lip MOP handled Q-36, or a GTC intergral flipper made from Timascus. Personaly I am not a fan of muku-ti or whatever.

DDR Gunhammer (not HTM ver.)
BUSSE Battle Mistress LE
CR Sebenza with wood insert.

All of my knives were "grails" until I bought them, it's the human condition to never be satisfied, with what you have and to want, want, want!

I think the ZT 560CBCF will be the closest to perfect for me so far, of course if I could custom design my own it might be simliar, but still quite a few changes. (compression frame lock w/ steel insert, FFG, slightly wider handle, slightly different blade shape, etc)

for me, it would be a companion knife to the hand forged, pattern welded Langsax that one of our members made for me a few years back. Just have NOT been able to talk him into making the matching knife. :(
