Whats your grail Knife?

This is my "grail knife" which is safe to say since it's something mythical and near unobtainable.

So this subhilt fighter...not any subhilt fighter, just this one....is my own grail knife.

One of mine is this Bob Dozier folder. It is an XL folding hunter with a 5" handle and 4" blade. Handle material is a recreation of the Westinghouse Gold Micarta used by some custom makers while it was available. Take a look at how thick those liners are!! I think the blade thickness is probably somewhere between .150" to .160", so the liners are really thick.

Nice sheath also as it is lined inside with some soft black leather to prevent scratches.

I don't really have a 'grail' at the moment (it's kinda like exotic cars when I was young, which one I dream about the most would depend on my mood).

One of my grails is already in my possession and cost less than $50.

This little guy is one I still look at every day and grin. To ME it looks like a high end knife.

To be honest, I'm not sure I really have a grail knife. I guess it would be either an original Busse Team Gemini or NMSFNO since those two are my most wanted knives atm.

lionsteel sr1 titanium with the fancy sleipner would be it. .i have the aluminum cuz im a cheap bastard lol

Probably a Hinderer XM-18 or XM-24. However, unless I win the BIG lottery, you know the $600,000,000 one that comes along from time to time...and win it by myself I doubt seriously that I'd buy one.

A more reasonable Grail knife might be a Strider.

I think I would also seek something custom from fellow member, Raymond Richard. He is my favorite custom maker hands down. Currently I own no custom knives and like the Hinderer, probably won't.

I dream of, but seek not, the Grail at this stage of my life.

Balibalistic (balisong)
Blade - Lum style tanto, damascus
Handle - Skeleton titanium with damascus inserts and blue anodized highlights (within the skeleton)
Latch - Damascus roll pin
Clip - Blue anodized titanium
Length - 9.5" to 10.5"
Weight - 5 - 6 oz. (ideally 4.5 but don't think that's realistic with everything I'm asking for)
Pivots - Bushing system

My unobtanium grail knife would probably still be the one that it has been for years, a Bill Moran damascus ST24. But that won't happen as they are quite rare and I will probably need that money to buy my next car.:D

No such thing.. because as soon as you have your grail knife, you start looking for your next grail knife.. neverending

At the moment, my grail is a US made Collins machete with a 12 or 14 inch blade. As others have noted, if I find one, I'll want something else. I have no desire for a high end custom knife, although the posted blades are beautiful. My tastes run to working knives. As does my budget.

I would LOVE a Large Sebenza 21 Insingo w/m390 and mammoth bark. Since CRK doesn't use M390, my realistic grail is mammoth bark large 21 insingo w/raindrop damascus. Oh wait, they don't make that either!! And an FFBM.

This one by Steve Voorhees. I loved the lines when I first saw it and then I read the details on it. But he's not making them anymore and those who have one aren't selling and if they were, I'm sure it would be out of my price range. Of knives that I might really believe I may get some day; an Emerson CQC 6 in black.

If they ever make the Spyderco Yojimbo 2 with CF scales and S90V steel that would be my holy sh*t grail knife.
