Whats your grail Knife?

I don't really have one specific grail knife. But what I've always dreamed of is owning one of each iteration of the Benchmade AFCK, going back to the very original.
This guy is well on his way...

Reese Weiland Wasp. 154CM blade, Stainless steel bolsters, black micarta handle and anodized bronze/copper titanium liners.

Anything that looks like an ultimate Tarzan knife, but more wicked looking like described in the original book. That is what got me into knives. I know there was a thread about it awhile ago. I did like the dagger like one carried by Gordon Scott, I have seen it or one similar upm for sale. Not that I want a cheap copy, just liked the looks.

OH MY GOD! :eek:That's alot of $ right there. And an awesome way to spend it. :D

On with the thread topic....
Achievable stuff:

Stuff that's gonna wait a while:

A Benchmade Mini Griptilian
A Benchmade 707 Sequel
A Spyderco Delica
A Spyderco Para-2
And a Spyderco Endura

Overall my grail knife is a:
Chris Reeve Small Sebenza Insigno

I think the M390 sprint's might beat it...

I just got the PM 2 in M390, it was sort of a grail knife for me. the PM2 is my favorite knife and M390 my favorite steel. I may just have to get new scales for it. not sure about the blue. Having said that I wouldn't mind another PM2 in S90V or maybe the orange one XHP. I just love the PM2 its great.

Thought of another one. An old '60s-'70s Armourhide Gerber...old style gerbers with the then "space-age" aluminum handles and that crazy tool steel they used back then. They were everywhere when I was a kid but I liked traditional patterns back then and turned up my nose. I'll love one now.

Mine would be a Yuna QI, 3" or an Yuna mini hard 3. I would make it my EDC and never look at another knife again!!!!!

Well at least a month or so...;)

I have two grail knives that I would love to get my hands on.

One is a Microtech Matrix.

Two is a large Sebenza 21 (left hand version).

Can someone define "grail"?

Does it pertain to knives you want but can't get?

I think the term "grail" is really different from person to person. For me personally a grail knife is a knife that is not only difficult to obtain from a monetary standpoint but most of all it's just difficult to find... period. And also a grail knife is a knife that I would never sell.

That's just if I had to pick one at the moment but my tastes are always changing and there are many on my list. But basically anything from these brothers would suffice.

That is so pretty, but I must ask how useful is an S-curved blade?

When you get to the subject of a 'grail' knife, usefulness usually doesn't matter much. Most of us are more than happy to just be able to fondle that knife.

BTW, I finally scored one of my grails.... I need to find a new grail now!
