Here's a nice Ulster 50D I sent to Dale. It was missing one of the bolsters. He replaced it expertly, to the point of even matching the gaps by the other bolsters due to the celluloid handles shrinking.

here is a very nice Imperial. made about same time as 3rd Gens. i bet.

and an "Ulster" 58OT DE with shell handles. there is another pic of one of these somewhere in this forum. i'm sure it's from R.I. not N.Y. the Ulster tableware(?) knives were moved over there in 1958, so i bet some of the "Ulster" folders were made by Imperial as well.

no dout about the "imperial blood" in that 58. that camp knife is really neat, really like the large pen blade---having the box makes it a complete example too --great find----------brady

Roland

Is that the DE557 ?

I have a DE557, seven function multi purpose.........no picture and can't get to it right now.

Just wondering

Nice vintage "vintage" repair on the Ulster with the deer head handle Dale! And I am always amazed by that shell handled DE stockman, Roland! Don't you have one also Dale?

I just picked up this Schrade Cut Jack, from a guy New England. It matches a bone Jack I posted a page or so back. Here's also a comparison between the two. I complained to the seller of the bone knife that it had been cleaned, and he refunded me a hefty 40% of the purchase price, which is about right!! Some guys are just righteous, and step up to the plate!!

Charlie you make me SICK w/ envy :p especially with those SCC jacks!!!:D PS: (among others!!!)

Those wood scaled DE's are slick lookers Too, Roland and Larry!!!!

Great job on the Bolster there Dale.;)

Got this one in recently. Only problem is, I didn' realize until later that there should be an etch on the blade. Anyone know where to find a new blade? Still a nice knife though.

Dave,
I have 125 blades, but no 127 blade and no blade with the etch.
Good luck finding one with the etch.

Dale

freedumb06, yep, as shown by Irv's post, box for my DE multiblade has: "DE-557" stamped on the end flap. excellent knife for what was the "bargain line" of Imperial Schrade offerings.

Nice Buffalo Bill 127 Dave, as you say even without the etch. I have one and all it say on the tang is Schrade Walden, made possibly before a pattern number was assigned. When I bought it the seller told me it was from the "Schrade Wall" Other knives from the "wall" he was selling also.

Picked up some (6) Harness Jacks, 5 from one guy who was changing directions in his collecting (to Easy Openers!).
One or two don't fit the Schrade family criteria, but the rest do. From the top, a Napanoch with it's weird double-trough punch, then a KeenKutter possibly Utica-made.
Then an Ulster-made Wolfertz, and three variations on a Schrade Cut. Co.

I'd just like to ask if this jumping back and forth between older knives, and post 1946 knives is too awkward for you readers and oglers?? I can post elsewhere if it is; just let me know. . . . . .
