Chuck, that display is INCREDIBLE! Great job, and some real jewels in there too!

Finsgurl, gotta say that barlow is by far my favorite:thumbup:

Thanks for the kind words guys! One of these days, hopefully sooner than later, I will be able to get some good pictures of them and ask Larry to post them to his site.

Beta, there is no need to re-post pics again. it overloads BF capacity and for me makes reading this thread challenging due to slow internet connection.

only sold for 3 years, 1990-92. not popular so rather uncommon. a saw blade is a very useful tool to have on your knife. too few people seem to realize that as this should have been a great seller.
rarely seen box. anyone know the history of these boxes ?

You could always refer to the unique post number (for example, the 34OT in post 1116). It especially causes issues when pictures are not re-sized before posted too. I'm not pointing the finger at anyone. In the long run, it causes the forum to bog down, and we only get about two pages of posts before they get archived as it is.

Sometimes, reposting the picture is justified, but not a good idea to reply to every post in a thread by repeating the pictures.

Roland - I think possibly the Black boxes, both with red and your turquoise trim might have been used for outlets like SMKW, K-Mart, Walmart etc. It is just a theory.

Nice push button and ring opener too. Sometimes fun to see knives from auctions end up here amongst the members.

Beta, you could just refer to the poster's name too, they'll know who you're talking about;)

Great finds Roland! I had my eye on that ring turn too, never did get back to bid on it though:grumpy::D it's in beautiful shape!

The black enameled/blue printed boxes were chiefly made for the European order of Old Timers such as the 512OT and 19OT. A search will turn up my post on these with quantities ordered and dates. The boxes, IIRC, had a copyright date on them.
