just have this one on the way. it is my second Gen 3 knife. not sure but isn't this the basis for the LB 4? i do love lock back knives. and it looks like it comes with all the bling. not too bad for a throw away bid.

Nice get! I like the little 3rd Gen knives though the only one I have is the 2005 Schrade Forum knife. A few collectors here have the entire set. Hard to do since they were not too popular when produced and production was short-lived.

Yep, the C641 is built on the same frame as the LB4. I can't say, however, which came first. I love the 3rd Gen knives!

This is from A.A.P.N: "In 1980 Schrade produced a new knife, which they initially named the I.V.L.B. that in fact was the LB4. The knife was produced until 1985 with a total of 5107 knives being shipped. In 1983 Schrade introduced a pattern line called the “3rd Generation” consisting of 7 knives one of which was the C641 built on the same frame as the I.V.L.B. I cannot find any I.V.L.B. having been built that year. – Larry Vickery"

I picked this up at a garage sale awhile ago, not a true schrade (Taylor made) 1956 Ford F100. the blade is stamped USA & dated July 30 2004

IIRC, SMKW had these made by (Ertyl?) for them, supplied their own bed insert, knife, decals and packaging. I remember some 100th Anniversary ones.

Codger If you have this little pick-up, you could send it to me; if you do not want it... Ken
Do you think we could start a Schrade 100th Anniversary collection, on a Dedicated Post?

Here we go finally snapped some pics.

The 153UH was the first hunting knife my Dad bought for me 30 years ago the first time he took me deer hunting.

The 225OT I purchased in 1991. Should have bought a few more. Who knew right:rolleyes:

The 226OT is the one I just bought off the bay.

As you can see the 153UH and 225OT have seen their fare share of game animal cleaning, gutting and skinning over the last 30plus years. Still going strong
.

Very Nice, Working knifes are a great testimony to the quality of the Schrade/UH knifes, Every now & then I will give one as a gift, & always encourage the recipient to use it!! the value of a knife is in its ability. jmop

I don't know if this thread is still active, but my newest, and only Schrade at the moment is a Schrade+ PH2, found it at a yard sale for a buck (not bad in my opinion), then I made a sheath for it. Once I get the adding photos thing figured out, I'll post some.
