What's your most useful knife?

@Comprehensivist Steel is AEB-L, scales are Micarta. Blade 3 1/8", overall 6.5". The maker is a young, very talented knife maker
from Bulgaria, Stoil Manchev. He's on Blade Forums' Knife Maker Market.

In both cases, used and useful, is my Classic. I can't seem to shake them. Always with me, used daily, and handles everything I throw at it, within its limitations. I have larger pocket knives and purpose made knives for everything else.

Edit to add an honorable mention. A Farber paring knife with a self sharpening (re: a pair of crossed ceramic sticks embedded in the) sheath. Lives in my lunch box, gets used everyday, and is occasionally on the receiving end of jokes at work (Remind me not to mess with you! ) I dig it

Apparently you're not alone in your choice. The Victorinox classic is the worlds most produced pocket knife, as well as the most confiscated by TSA knife. The sales of the humble classic are in the several millions a year number, greater than three of the top selling 'other' knife companies combined. After carrying a classic for over 20 years, I have to agree that they are an amazing little pocket knife. In addition to opening all kinds of packages, its been used to fix a Sears Kenmore clothes drier door, an electric trolling motor, a rented Honda motor scooter in Key West, a fishing reel on the banks of the Potomac River, and a door knob assembly on a family members home in Florida.

For the past year I've been carrying a Victorinox executive in the watch pocket, and its been great.

I'd have to say a Buck 501. A clip point Proper has been sharing the title recently though...
