Not the best pics due to the poor indoor lighting, but I switched the scales.
I like the black marble carbon fiber scales best on the black aluminum frame.

I don't see many of those getting used.
Not that it's wrong to do so.

I wonder if that handle lends itself to hotspots while using.

went to a regional knife show this morning, brought home some Bucks. some remarkable old pocket knives and fixed blades were gawked at. all the old US makers were well represented. guess my point is if you've never done a knife show I'd recommend trying one out. reminded me of gun shows from a couple decades back, focused on the object of the show (knives) instead of useless junk and everybody getting along and being helpful. 303, 309 and a 311 came home with me

Just got it in the mail 10 minutes ago. The Buck Danny collection 110 drop point in 5160 with burlap scales. One of 290 made. Absolutely perfect. Centered, zero blade play. They should clone Danny Peretti and have them make all their knives, guys work is amazing. He may be seeing more of my knives. The last five 110s I’ve received have all had pretty bad blade play. But his is spot on perfect.
