I've been looking for one of those Lochsa; g10 nickle bolster s30v with pocket clip, knives for awhile......... with a realistic price.

I really wish Buck would offer the pocket clip as an option from the custom shop....

 I have 2 of those. any 110 with a pocket clip I love. barehead is great too, plus 440c which I like on a user myself.

@Brhowser87 those are less than a few years old. think Joe made them in a smaller batch if my memories right.

I think it was a build out from 2017 modeled after the Lochsa model.

Yeah those are very nice. I was surprised when Mak said they were from 2017. I've never seen them and thought they were at least a few years older.
They had a small batch of 64 in the Limited Edition section back in October 2017. I ended picking up two of them and use one in my EDC rotation.

Somebody just mentioned that they were selling off some they had left. Idk if they still have any but I'd definitely ask.

Tecate Tecate you just made my day, the thread kinda slacked off the last few days. Those are some killer knives.

Makael Makael that 110 is really cool. That's looks like it's from before buck really started to use g10 that much. Do u have an approximate date for it?
Thank you for the reminder to take pictures and post. I had gotten a little lazy.

And the Lochsa has the thumb stud.
Those are sweet. I've grown quite partial to those g10 folders. Especially the ones that haven't been polished. You can see the polished edge on the g10 where they polished the bolster......
......... who cares tho.

Nice to see them together. Tks.

David is dropping by tomorrow from Texas..Bringing my 112's back he took to the Blade Show and I bet there's a new 112 or two to post pictures of !!

C&C currently has a "Pathfinder Cocobolo BOS 5160 High Carbon Fixed Blade Knife 105BRSSH" that can be found in their sale section.

Thanks, has anyone have any experience of how they liked the 5160 version? C and C?

I found the older thread comparing stainless vs 5160, interesting reading. Still would like to hear their experiences with these steels with actual use.

I have a few. If you like carbon steel you'll be pleased. I prefer Buck's carbon over others i've been exposed to.

C and C is a good seller that stands behind their product.
However I did once leave less than a stellar review they wouldn't post, I don't trust that......
