What's your newest Buck knife

I finally pulled the trigger, or should I say pushed the button :D, on the 110 Auto Elite Burlap and Brushed Brass S30V. I couldn't let @jbmonkey be the only one. :p Surprisingly they were down to only 16 left of the 250. First time I have seen brushed brass on a 110 and I like it.

That brushed brass looks great. It adds a complete different look. Beautiful.

I really like those sheaths.
Yea me too:confused:. I posted a thread about a week ago looking for one to trade or something thinking they were easy to find and guys had em just laying around. WRONG.:p:D:D They were apparently made in the 80s.

You either sold the farm, or won the lottery.....
Nice stuff Farm. You have a good eye.

That’s some nice wood flamewood never seen it
I saw this on the net

Flame maple (tiger maple), also known as flamed maple, curly maple, ripple maple, fiddleback or tiger stripe, is a feature of maplein which the growth of the wood fibers is distorted in an undulating chatoyant pattern, producing wavy lines known as "flames". This effect is often mistakenly said to be part of the grain of the wood; it is more accurately called "figure", as the distortion is perpendicular to the grain direction. Prized for its beautiful appearance, it is used frequently in the manufacturing of fine furniture and musical instruments, such as violins, guitars, and bassoons.

During the westward expansion of early settlers and explorers into the lands west of the Appalachian Mountains, curly maple was often used for making the stocks used on Kentucky rifles.”

I have no idea would like to know more
Your beautiful knife looks like a really nice piece of KOA. I have a Custom Shoppe 110 from the early 2000s that looks a lot like that (yours is even better).

But somebody from buck should comment to clear this up.

This one is from 2002

I'd say it's KOA.

I haven't kept up on the materials used so I can't say for sure.

Some expert will be along to clear it up.

You have a beautiful knife anyhow.

:)
