What's your rig to get out there?

When I need to go off-road, 2007 Land Rover LR3. I've never driven a more comfortable car and it does some crazy stuff off-road:

I just had to retire my 02 Discovery SeriesII I'm sure gonna miss her..
When you say a stick LR can do some crazy stuff off-road you aren't kidding!I gotta tell you I was amazed at some of the terrain that the Disco was able to traverse without miising a beat...but I digress.
My latest acquisition is my 02 Expedition.

But but but...my vehicle is an 06 H3....,. :(

Sorry, that was just my personal opinion.... I am not saying the new Hummers are not nice vehicles....They're really nice, almost too nice.

I suspect yours doesn't look like this...This is really the kind I'm talking about. It just looks :barf::barf::barf: and I would gladly drive it off a cliff if I could get my hands on that nice red Jeep Cherokee someone on here wanted to sell.

2001 S-10 ZR2

No pics but it's been there and done that trust me. It's only had the frame broke in two places, motor mounts, and leaf springs. Been hit by two deer, two cars and 1 Fed Ex semi and got the worse end of the deal on a steel reinforced mail box. It's a rural route mail truck during the day. She's not pretty anymore but it still gets the job done.

1996 Ford Bronco. Purchased new over 14 years ago.

Boat towing, gone hunting, beach prowling, grocery toting beast.

My 15 year daughter has dibs on it.

04 Ram. -This was my "off roader" though I mostly babied it. It did see plenty of towing and camping duty. :)

...Traded it in a while back, kinda miss it. :o

I recently traded in my 08' Mustang GT for a used 02' Escape w/ 4WD to save some money since business has been very slow and because the Mustang had gearbox issues. Between the payment and the insurance I cut my costs by almost two thirds. :) Not the most exciting vehicle, I know, :o but I do stand a much better chance of not getting stuck in my new ride than I did in my old one. I was a little bummed because I picked it up about one week after the last of our snow had melted. :grumpy:

nice! i love land cruisers. my dad still has his '95 and it's still running like a champ. i opted for a 4runner though as my daily driver since an lc is too big for me. '09 sport edition. i love the suspension on this thing. i almost drive it like a sports car, left foot braking and all :D

Here is my truck. I have had it since High School, still runs like it did when I bought it.

I think that is good. :D

Mine is a Nissan Titan 4x4 Crew Cab...paid off and only 50K miles. So far it has held up well and has a few trail dings/scrapes.

My wife really misses her old Suburu Outback. I actually really like that all-wheel drive car/mini SUV/??? She wants to trade in her Pathfinder for one if she can land a new job...as least they get decent gas mileage.

that isnt the factory roof rack is it?

My every day ride. A 2002 Subaru Legacy GT with 85,000 miles on the odo.

I drive ~30 miles each way to work and back so I need decent mileage and something that can handle those commutes during Michigan winters.

If it isn't this, its the wife's '09 Ford Focus.

Here is a couple, can't find a picture of the old Jeep. A partial picture of the old Jeep, 76 Wagoneer, With the deer lift on the front, It slides into a reciever so you can put it on anything with a two inch reciever. I have a electric winch for it but it works so easy by hand that I never put it on. The Ford only has 50,000 miles on it. The Jeep has been around the world about six time miles wise. It is a 95 and the Chevy is a 88. Just like the wife, I keep them around for a long time, if there good.:) 42 years for the wife.
